How to view and create Triggers in FeetPort and send notification to users ?

Create triggers:
Trigger messages can be configured by the web user which can be sent to the customer as well as the supervisor/ web user through Email, SMs, Whatsapp or push notification. 

To add trigger messages, follow the below steps:

  1. From Navigation Menu, click on Configuration.
  2. Click on Triggers sub-module.
  3. Click on '+' icon to ad the trigger.
  4. Under Info tab, fill the fields like Name, Description, Type, Pick an activity, Execute timer and run which indicates the frequency of the trigger message.
  5. Under Condition tab, pick the field to put condition for the trigger message. For example :- if you will choose the workflow state equal to Finish, then the trigger message will be sent on the the receiver's email when the task state will be updated to 'Finish'.
  6. Under Action tab, select field ( such as SMS, Email Whatsapp, Push notification), template ( message template) and receiver of the trigger message.
  7. Click on 'Create Trigger' to create the trigger.


 
Update triggers, follow these steps:
  1. From Navigation Menu, click on Configuration.
  2. Click on Triggers sub-module.
  3. Now you will be able to view list of all triggers. Click on the trigger that you want to modify or change.
  4. Under Info tab, edit the fields like Name, Description, Type, Pick an activity, Execute timer and run which indicates the frequency of the trigger message.
  5. In the Name field, user can give and change the name of the trigger. 
  6. In the Description field, User can describe the details of the trigger.
  7. In the Type field, User can choose the type from the dropdown options and set the trigger to that particular type.
  8. The next field is Pick an Activity , in which user can select an activity as per requirement.
  9. After that User can see the another field" Type * , which contains two catagories Trigger and Nudge. Trigger is an event based action whereas Nudge is time based action.
  10. Execute field has two options . First is " when record is created" and Second is "Whenever the record is created or Updated". If user will choose the first option then trigger will come in action for once only when the record will be created whereas if user will choose second option then trigger will perform action every time whenever the record will be created or updated.
  11. Under Condition tab,  define the condition for the trigger message.

For example :- if you will choose the workflow state equal to Finish, then the trigger message will be sent on the the receiver's email when the task state will be updated to 'Finish'.

  1. Under Action tab, select action field ( such as SMS, Email, Whatsapp, Push notification), template ( message template) and receiver of the trigger message.
  2.  Click Update to save changes.

 

Delete Triggers:  Triggers can be deleted by following below steps:
  1. From Navigation Menu, click on Configuration.
  2. Click on Triggers sub-module.
  3. Select the checkbox against any of the triggers from the list.
  4. Click the Delete icon.
  5. Click Delete on confirmation pop-up bx.
  6. The selected trigger will get deleted.
