Unique field in Task

Adding a field as unique field in an activity ensures no duplicacy for that field. Hence, genuine and accurate information is collected.
Pro-tip: Extremely important if you are collecting phone numbers or email IDs of customers/clients.

Follow the steps to do this:

  1. From Navigation Menu, go to Configuration module and then click on Activities sub-module.
  2. Click on the pencil icon of the activity in right hand side to open the activity.
  3. Go to the Settings tab.
  4. Click on General tab. A side window will appear.
  5. Click on Advanced for more settings.
  6. Scroll down to Unique field in task option and select the activity fields.
  7. Click on Save to update the activity.
