MOBILE USER

Mobile users are those field workers who works in the field, whether that field is a field or just out of the office and uses the FeetPort Application.Which user should be on mobile it is decided by the Organisation/Company head/Chair Person of the Company who uses our application. Various actions can be performed by mobile users like doing tasks, attendance marking.

CREATE A MOBILE USER

If you want to create a Mobile user for your organization you have to first contact FeetPort team to add 'Identity Manager 'feature to your FeetPort manager console then you can create a mobile user .
Below are the mentioned steps to create mobile user :
1.Go to identity manager Console.
2.Click on 'mobile user'.
3.Click on create icon (plus icon on the right hand side).
4.Fill all the details given and assign the relevant Forms to the mobile user

Otherwise mobile User creation information has to send to FeetPort Team.

MODIFY A MOBILE USER

Mentioned below are the steps to modify a mobile user :
1.Go to identity manager in FeetPort manager Console.
2.Click on 'mobile user'.
3.Click on particular mobile user under the list which has to be edited.
4.Click on pencil icon. 
5.Modify t the information and then click on Update button at the bottom.
All the information can be edited except the Mobile username.

Mobile user has the access to change password in Application, go to Menu, tap on User ID, option to change password appears. Enter new password and confirm. Its that simple.

ASSIGN A TERRITORY

Territories can be a zone ,region, area, state or city. Activity forms of the particular territories are assigned to a mobile user.User can only view the particular territory Activity forms which are assigned to him.

DEVICE MAPPING

Particular mobile user has given a unique mobile user id and a password to logged into the FeetPort. It provides security and avoid user redundancy. Device mapping can be reset by choosing a particular user then click on delete device icon on the top right hand side. By clicking on Mobile Screen Preview in front of a particular user under list preview of the Activities allocated to a user can be viewed.

WEB USER

Web users are those who can access FeetPort Manger console with Web user Id and Password given to them and work in the office and keep an eye on their employees in terms of their doing work, analyzing work reports, allocating tasks to field workers under them.

Web users work in office and uses FeetPort Manager Console to manage process. Fetching the reports, location tracking of the mobile users whereas mobile users works in field or outside the office and uses FeetPort mobile application to perform daily tasks like verification, survey etc. Web user can allocate data to n number of Mobile users who are mapped to the ID but Mobile user has access to self.

CREATE A WEB USER

Web user can be created by clicking on create icon (a plus icon on the top right hand side) under web user option in identity manager in FeetPort Manager Console.Bulk users can be created also by clicking on upload icon (upward arrow on right hand side) in the same module.
Some of the mandatory information required for creating web user is First name,last name, web user name, employee code, email,  role assigned and reporting person.Other fields required while creating a user are contact details, date of birth. These fields are important as they provide the whole information about the web user.

MODIFY A WEB USER

Web user can be modified as per below mentioned steps:

1.1.Go to identity manager Console.
2.Click on 'web user' sub module.
3.Click on particular mobile user under the list which has to be edited.
4.Click on pencil icon.
5.Modify t the information and then click on Update button at the bottom.
User name cannot be edited for a web user.
To delete a user select particular web user mentioned under the List of web users in Identity Manager then click on the delete icon which appears on the top right hand side.
To change the password of a web user click on the 'change password'(a lock) icon in front of that particular web user.

ASSIGN A TERRITORY

Territories can be a zone,region,area,state or city. Particular territory is assigned to a web user with mapping of Activity Form of that territory. Web user can access the reports of all mobile users under that territory.
